Pertussis /Tdap

I posted this in Jan15 also, I am due 1/1/15 I am looking for some feedback. This is pretty early, I am making my husband get a booster and my parents looked into their records and they are up to date. My in-laws are not thinking it is an issue and I shouldn't worry about it. My husband sees my concerns and is trying to push it. Did you have anyone not want to get it and how did you handle it?

    Bottom line: Your baby = your rules.

    If you aren't comfortable with non-vaccinated people being around your baby, tell the grandparents they can hold the baby after the 2 month pertussis shots are done. You can't make them get vaccinated but access to a grandchild is a privilege not a right.

    With ds#2, I got the shot right after delivery.  My parents, in-laws and DH did not get it, nor did I require it.

    ~after 34 cycles we finally got our 2nd little bundle of joy~

    DD was born last October and my whole family came to see us for thanksgiving.  I required everyone staying at our house to get the flu shot and the tdap.  Some of my family were coming from a state that has had a lot of cases of whooping cough.  At first I got a lot of resistance...I put together an email with all the information from the CDC and explained that this was my house my baby my rules!  
    A good friend of mine scared her MIL into getting the shot by showing her a Youtube video of a baby with whooping cough. Not sure if i would do that though.

    BFP1- 2/21/2013- L was born 10/25/2013!
    BFP2- 4/18/2014- F was born 12/29/2014!
