Went off BC and now spotting

I have always had a normal cycle. Got BFP first time with both my 2 kids. Trying for #3 now and went off BC 11 weeks ago. Had normal withdrawal bleed, then nothing for 11 weeks! Sunday ( 2 days ago) I started to have brown spotting. Not much. I am not sure when I am due for a period or even if I ovulated bc its been so long and I was just waiting for a "normal' period. Thoughts? Could it be implantation or just getting ready for a normal period? ( although I never had this before either.) frustrated!!! I was going to go in to the OB at 12 wks, but now I have this and not sure what to do. Took a preg test yesterday and negative as well.

Unfortunately you won't know for sure until you either get your period or get a positive pregnancy test. Cycles can become irregular or wonky after coming off the BC. I normally get spotting before my period so it's very possible your period is on it's way. Are you charting your temperatures?

1.) There is no such thing as a "normal cycle" - this is proven when you temp and chart. Or rather, you are "normal" until you arent.

2.) Negative result = not pregnant

3.) Why were you going to see your OB if you hadn't even confirmed a pregnacy?.... scracth that don't answer....

4.) Chances are it's probably AF, if you hit 60 days without her showing up THEN make an appointment, but not until then.

5.) Read the newbie blog.

6.) Be prepared for flames - this is probably the 3rd or 4th time this question has been asked in the last few hours.

no, not charting I have some OPK's, took them sporadically. Maybe I will start to chart.

Been here done that with people on this site. I don't really care. Just looking for polite advice-which does occasionally occur. I'll wait a week for AF, if nothing I'll go back to the Dr. I'll be over 35 as well with #3, so I don't want to wait too much longer in case of something else going on.

If you don't think the spotting is your period it wouldn't hurt to give your Dr. a call. 11 weeks is a long time between periods. Good luck.

Tests are pretty definitive, negative means not pregnant. Or maybe there's something to the fact that according to your ticker, you're 190 weeks pregnant with a jackfruit.

Also, your ticker reads 190 WEEKS not days. Maybe in another two years you'll figure out how to use this forum's edit feature and delete that ticker?

Yeah, it took way more time for you to type out all of your posts here today asking us to diagnose the status of your ute than it actually would to go to 'preferences' and click the delete button. And my daughter is just like me, she's 19, gorgeous, smart, witty, and would never expect internet strangers to tell her something a dollar store test could do in one minute. You know, she knows how to read and would believe a test result.
