Re: **2IF Grad Check-In**
Hi all, hope everyone has a great week.
1. How many weeks along are you? 18w2d
2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)? My next appointment is August 7. They will do the u/s at this visit.
3. How are you feeling lately? Still tired most of the time. Other than that alright.
4. QOTW: how are you coming along with preparations for LO’s arrival? Anything exciting to report or any unexpected trouble? Haven't done a single thing. We are planning to move at the end of the month. Once we get settled, I will get started.
2. My next appt is this Wednesday. My OB starts every two week visits now. I passed my glucose test, but I called the nurse to get my actual number, 128. Which concerned me. The nurse said "well you didn't pass with flying colors, but you passed". So I've been researching GD diets and have been aligning what I am eating with that.
3. I'm feeling okay. I go back to work from summer break next week and I'm a little nervous about how I am going to be feeling being on my feet more.
4. We've made major nursery progress. Still need to get car seat and other baby items back from my cousin I lent them too. Got my breast pump last week through my insurance. Still a few more must have items like another white noise machine and some more diapers and we will be set.
2. I saw my doctor today & I'm being induced on Monday! I can't believe he/she is going to be here in a week!
3. For the most part I feel good, though I'm getting pretty crampy. I don't think the cramps are contractions though b/c my belly doesn't get hard.
4. The amount of work our nursery needs will depend on the sex of the baby. We moved DD out of it last week & into her big girl bed in her big girl room. I've decided to leave the nursery decorated as is for now, but of this baby is a boy, I'll have take everything off of the walls & start from scratch.
1. 27 weeks
2. Next appt is on Monday
3. Feeling pretty good! Excited about my son jeffrey's second bday party this Saturday!
4. We have ordered new furniture for Jeffrey and will be using his crib etc for LO. Also started cleaning out closets. One thing that has given us trouble is that DH and I can't agree on who the godmother will be (we both have sisters) and keep putting off that conversation! I am hoping to prevail since his sister lives out of the country and we haven't seen her since Jeffrey was a few months old!
2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)? Appt yesterday- hb at 171 and u/a showed a sweet little peanut shaped baby
3. How are you feeling lately? Sick sick sick. Finally broke down and took first zofran today... Was really hoping to avoid it... Ugh
4. QOTW: how are you coming along with preparations for LO’s arrival? Anything exciting to report or any unexpected trouble? No preparations yet... Still have everything from dd so unless we have a boy we are pretty set!

Conception:

2) Repeat c section is scheduled for 11:30 tomorrow afternoon! I'm so excited I just can't sleep!
This month has literally been hell so once again I'm so sorry I've been MIA. I've decided as long as baby is healthy nothing else matters but I think we've had the worst luck ever in July. LOL! It started off with back to back ER visits in which my DH fell and broke his elbow to the following day my mom being rushed into emergency surgery for a ruptured appendix. Our back ordered nursery furniture arrived finally, this past Monday, only to have been severely damaged on the way to our house by the incompetent delivery guys. There were a million other small things between those that I could write a book probably, but oh well!
3) I'm feeling great! I'm so excited to meet this baby but at the same time sad because I realize this will most likely be my last pregnancy.
DD has decided the new baby's name is "Burp" so that's what everyone has been calling the baby now for weeks. I will post Burp's birth story as soon as I can but I can't wait to see if Team Green is Blue or Pink! DD is so excited too which just makes me even more excited.
Thank you again for all of your support and I wish all of you happy and healthy pregnancies and LOs!!

2) I graduated from RE today! Wahoo! I will miss him & his nurse though. I'm staying within the same practice, just across the hall. We go to OBGYN in 2 weeks for all of the genetic testing & whatnot. Today we had an ultrasound and baby is measuring at 8w5d with heart rate of 171. We got to see her wiggling around a lot. It was very cool.
3) Feeling good. I've for the most part escaped morning sickness. I've gotten it, but eating something always resolved it. Now it's lingering past eating, more annoying than anything. Still exhausted. Moody. I see maternity clothes in my near future. They arnt kidding when they say things happen more quickly with the 2nd!
4) Haven't really prepped anything. I'm taking it one day at a time. I think we'll be a bit more proactive once we get all the genetic testing results back. Plus, we are moving. Super lame!
