Am I allowed to start a random post??

We had a 9 am meeting this morning at work, so I was pumping about an hour behind schedule. Anyways, I was pumping and looking at everyone's awesome pics of their LO's and engagements and did not see that the damn bottle was overflowing! I have milk all over me (pants legs and crotch!!), my chair, my desk, and even an IRS notice... I seriously look like I pissed my pants! Uuuugggghhhhh... I hope this isn't a sign of things to come this week!

Anyone else's Monday morning getting off to a rocky start?!?!

Not a fail, but a random: while I was waiting to go see a patient this morning, I was going through the mommy and me thread and in my head I was saying, "You get a lovetit! You get a lovetit!" I felt like Oprah.

Yes, this is DD's problem too. She is in the touch myself phase and doesn't care if there is poop there or not.

Dude. Emerson has had some kind of tummy trouble for the last few days, so I'm changing a poopy diaper about 6 times a day. And he manages to grab on to his poopy peen every time. EVERY. TIME.

My morning was great until a customer called to ask why we haven't fixed his counter yet (we don't work on counters). Come to find out my brother broke the man's counter when fixing his dishwasher and now we have to fix it some how. It got broke about a week ago and we are just now finding out about it. I now have to listen to my mom complain all day about all things.

This is the pain of working for a family run business.

Friday I picked up LO from daycare and there was some random teacher in the baby room who didn't know WTF was going on. She couldn't find his bottle and then I am almost positive she found it in the warmer and dumped it down the drain (4oz of BM!!!), she also didnt know when he was changed last and the only thing on his daily sheet was a diaper change at 2, I was there at 5! Also no record he had been fed anything in four hours.

When I got him home he had poop so dried to his butt I basically had to scrape it off with my nail. Also it had leaked and got on his shorts, all of it was dry. Obviously I was PISSED but the owner and manager were gone for the week.

My DH just called them to see what thy fuck happened and they are saying he was changed 20min before I got there and was actually fed a bottle and they have it all on tape. I am sure they told me their cameras were closed circuit and I am going in early to drop him off and demand to see the video.

Usually they are awesome so I am really disappointed and upset.

Not really a fail but I have lots of working mommy guilt about it so close enough.

My fail is pretty lame. I had a teleconference class thing this morning. Part three of three, but I haven't done the first two parts yet because the earlier sessions were already full when I registered. I was told it was okay to do them out of order. Come to find out, it was just review of the homework from the previous sessions. Oh well. Got paid to sit there and try to pay attention but I couldn't participate.

Totally random, but I found a new guilty pleasure TV show for me to watch. It's on the network FYI and it's called Married At First Sight. It's a social experiment where four experts find six people their scientific perfect match. They do not meet, see, or ever know the other persons name until they meet at the alter. They get legally married, go on a honeymoon and move in together. Then after four weeks of marriage have to decide if they will stay married and or get a divorce. Watch the first two episodes(honeymoon episode airs tomorrow night) and it's definitely interesting especially when one bride wasn't instantly attracted to her husband.

I am excited to see how it all goes and if any of the couples stay married.

I would be pissed too! There is no way they had just changed him if it was already dried!

I ate raw bacon this morning, DH usually cooks it but I decided to do it this morning and assumed it was done but just floppy. When DH went to grab a slice he said it was still raw. I had already eaten two slices. My stomach felt awesome.

I went home with a migraine this morning. So while I was resting, I decided to do the update on my phone. It failed and went into recovery mode. 2.5 hours later, a panic attack and a trip to the Apple Genius Bar, I have a working phone.

@MomtobeOct13‌ , I get you on telling people the obvious. Even though she raised two kids, I feel like I have to tell my mom obvious things just because it makes me feel better (and she STILL fed him chocolate Cheerios, but that's another story). SILs are tough.

@SeeJayEmm‌ , if last night in our house was any indication, 9 month sleep regression is totes a thing!!! There was nothing wrong with him (that we could figure out at least) but every couple of hours he would just wake up and sit up in his crib and cry. Took half an hour to get him down each time.

Sooooo I spent almost forty minutes siting with the owner and manager of our daycare watching all of the video from LOs day on Friday and he went four hours without being fed, three hours without a diaper change and his bottle had been put in the warmer, forgotten and then dumped out. What the fuck. I was not happy.

They have been really great up until now so I am giving them one strike. Anything else like this happens again we are out of there.

LO just rolled around and played the whole time, even with a dirty diaper and an empty belly. He such a trooper.

I know! The ball totally got dropped on multiple levels. His normal teachers are so great with him, I was totally shocked. They are on super thin ice right now, any other mistake and that's it. This is already our second daycare so I am hoping this is an isolated incident.

I had a BIG mommy fail today. My child put her hand in an oscillating fan this morning while I was walking past it holding her. I feel terrible. I didn't realize it was within her reach when I walked past (seemed like a comfortable margin away), and she was so fast. There was blood and tears, but besides losing some skin along the nail, her tiny finger is ok

Came home to find out that one of the gas burners was on all day. The house was thick. We had to open all windows and evacuate... On the hottest day of the year! Good times!

All is well now... But so scary.

I went to Kohl's and bought some cute clothes for LO (almost $40 worth) then left the bag in the cart and drove away. Went back and couldn't find the bag. Major fail. I guess I'm not ready to try to do normal things.

@pmarie33‌ I tried to update my iPad a few weeks ago and the sane thing happened. It wiped everything off it. I was really sad. Most pictures were backed up but I lost some videos and apps.

I used to pump on the way to work while driving. I use a cover and didn't pay too close attention to the flanges. When I got to work I saw I had no milk in the bottle. Turns out I had been pumping the side of my boob for 20 minutes and they was a very red circle there for a couple days.

E's got a milk protein allergy and for the last 2 weeks his skin has been really, really bad. I couldn't figure out why-I'm not eating milk or soy and when he gets formula he gets expensive dairy/soy free stuff. My oldest explained to me that DH's Aunt, who is visiting from France, has been giving him Carnation Instant Breakfast powder mixed with water as a treat the days I work! That stuff is pure evaporated milk - it explains the eczema.
