Hi everyone! I have been fairly active on the boards for the past few months, mainly in the TWW and WTO threads. I realized that I kind of jumped in without ever actually introducing myself. Also, I apologize in advance for how long this post is-- can skip to the bolded if you don't want background info.
A little about DH and myself: I am 25, DH is 32 and we have been married for 2 years (together for 4). We are self employed and work together. We just purchased a new house back in June, and have been doing projects around there for the past month! We have a 2 year old golden retriever and a shelter cat that is likely 3-5 years old. I previously had the Paraguard IUD from January 2010 until May 2013. We had unprotected sex right away after removal, but I didn't start charting until July 2013. I have never gotten a positive pregnancy test.
Yesterday I had my first appointment with an RE and luckily it was CD3! I took in all of my FF charts, and we did some blood work and an ultrasound. DH had previously had two SA's done, and I took copies of the results to the appointment. After all was said and done, my doctor concluded that DH's sperm was great and I was in fact ovulating and had plenty of eggs (she said greater than 40, not exactly sure what that means, but she said it was good) and ruled out any problems with DH sperm or my ovaries.
However, there was concern with my ultrasound that I didn't really get an explanation to, which has me very confused and worried. The ultrasound tech had to leave me in the room alone and call for my doctor, which is terrifying! They took more pictures, and I went back and sat with my doctor. Basically she couldn't give me much information, as she found it odd. I will try my best to explain the situation, but it was not made very clear to me at my appointment.
There was something potentially blocking the entrance to my uterus and the could see some blood up top of the blockage. She had said that it was likely clots that I would pass in days to come, as I am known to have heavy periods. She then tried to draw a picture to explain it, and didn't do a very good job! She tossed out words like polyps and the diagnosis on the form I took to check out said "Uterine Lesion".
She had said that we would know more when I go back in one month to see if whatever is in my uterus is gone after my next AF. So I go back late August for a Femvue and Ultrasound.
Anybody have the slightest clue what may be going on? Similar experience?

I mostly lurk over here, but wanted to throw in my two cents. (since I didn't see anyone really talking about polyps)
I have had two uterine polyps. They were not blocking the entrance, but I could easily see how they could. I had a D&C done to remove one which was about 2cm in diameter - it was a pretty easy proceedure - it is outpatient surgery, but I was mostly tired the rest of the day and fine by the next day. Two years later, I had a "uterine lesion" show up on my HSG. The dr said it was most likely another polyp, and we were going to do a test to confirm, but I ended up pregnant that month, and he said if it didn't stop me from getting pregnant, then it wouldn't be an issue (and it wasn't!).
I just wanted to let you know that if it does end up being a polyp, it's probably not that big of a deal (even if it does come down to surgery, it was WAY less traumatic than getting my wisdom teeth out!) and after they're removed, it shouldn't have any affect on your fertility (heck, if it's blocking the entrance, it may increase your fertility!!).
Good luck and I hope you get some actual answers soon!
I can't speak for your RE, but my guess would be it's something that they'll be checking out more at the next appointment (if it doesn't clear up on it's own). It may be something that you'll have to deal with, but doesn't sound insurmountable.
Fwiw i had an u/s where they found either a cyst or dilated fallopian tube. I had a recheck 2 months later and what they saw was gone.
