So my mom almost had a fit when I told her about the crib set I like.
She says that it's too girly for my boy. That white is for girls and
that he can't grow into this set as he gets older (the crib can convert
to a bed frame for later on). My husband and I don't think it's girly. Especially since his room will be decorated as a boy's room. What do you ladies think?

It's fine. I don't believe white is girly though. You can't/shouldn't assign gender to a neutral colour. That's why it's called neutral
Thank you! I was just so annoyed with her comment! LOL. She can be
very old school/"traditional" sometimes. I think it's silly to think
that white, which is a neutral and a "non-color" like my husband calls
it, can't work for a boy! We both think it's nice and modern. IMO it's the
bedding that makes the difference anyway. Thanks again!

DS's furniture is white and I don't think it's girly at all. I actually think with the dark accents it actually does look a little more masculine than feminine.
We bought a white crib for DS. I wondered the same before buying it but haven't thought of it since. Again, I'm unsure who is having these babies. The actual pregnant women or their parents/in laws. Who cares what they think? They raised their children. These baking babies are ours, not anyone else's, to decide what to do, how to raise, how to dress, etc.
Cute! We're going with white furniture, and we're team green, so we're definitely comfortable with white furniture for a boy. I got some of the same comments ("White is a girl color!"), but I don't particularly care.
We're doing white furniture too and think it's totally fine! Choose what you like as there will always be someone with a differing opinion. Love your set!
I really like that set! I originally thought I wouldn't want white for the room because it was too girly. (This was before we even found out we're having a boy.)
But then I saw some images of different rooms with white furniture and loved them. It really comes down to how you accent and decorate. We're now going with a white crib and dresser in baby's room.
I'm having a boy and buying a set with a very similar color scheme (two tone, white and espresso) I'm just trying to determine which color goes where. I think it is totally fine for a boy, the bedding will really define it as "traditionally" boy or girl or neutral.
The only thing may be risky for "growing with the baby" is the dresser. An older boy may not necessarily like a white dresser. The only reason I mention it is I am going through the same thing (no problem whatsoever with the crib). For the dresser I'm debating about going all espresso with white hardware which I would swap out for more neutral hardware once he got older. Then again, if the room is decorated just right, the dresser wouldn't matter either. Just my 2 cents, I think whatever you do is fine, it's your nursery and your child!
I'm not a big white crib person for either a girl or boy but that set it actually really nice. Def doesn't look girly to me with the sleek lines and dark accents. It's not like it has carved scrolls or flowers with it. I think it's perfect for a boy.
