Aw- he slept through the night!

That's all.

For those wondering- he's 9w2d, EBF, 12 pounds at 2 month check, 24.5 inches, sleeping in PNP in our room. :x

Our little guy sleeps 6-8 hours a night and it is awesome! Plus a good 3 hour nap in the morning.

Crossing my fingers that my next one someday sleeps as good as this lo.

  • Can't wait for that! I think she probably could but sometimes her little cries and fusses makes me think she's awake and then I'll look at the time and think yeah she's probably hungry and pick her up only to find she's not real happy about that but she eats. Gonna try to ignore unless she does some more crying than just 1 or 2 little wah's and some grunts. That's awesome! :) enjoy the sleep!!

    Congrats!   I had a 4 1/2 hour stretch followed by a 3 hour stretch, followed by a 2 1/2.    Progress!

@athn64, I do the same thing! We've gotten a few 6-7 hour stretches but nothing consistent yet.

  • We usually get a 730/8 to 4 stretch if she is swaddled. I tried unswaddling once and she was up every 3-4 hours. So will swaddle a little while longer. Congrats mama!

  • 8-4 then 430-8 on the rnp :) feeling so rested and a happy mommy and baby today! What a difference sleep makes
  • I know I am super lucky and am knocking on wood as I type this, but she has slept 12 hours for the last 3 nights. And she was doing 10 to 11 hours per night the week before. I just hope this continues!
  • My LO is consistent in 8-4 am...we have tried to slide his bedtime a bit later because we did get a 10-7am a couple of days ago....he's rejected it so far. He does wake up, eat and go right back...which is awesome.

DD is such a great sleeper, I guess my rock solid sleeping genetics are good for SOMETHING?! Haha, until I have to wake the girls up for school one day...

  • I am jealous!  The closest I got was when he went to bed at 8, woke up only at 2:15 and then was up for the day at 5:15.  Hopefully he will get there soon!
  • I got 9:30-4:45 today!!

  • LO is confusing me... Went from doing 6-7 hour stretches followed by a 2-3 stretch to two 4 hour stretches. I miss the longer blocks.

Sleep regression is common, but it's important to know that it's not just sleep regression, it's developmental changes.

Lots of other info out there if you google, but I always like kellymom's baby-centered approach.

We're getting nice long 8-9 hour stretches now but pretty sure I'm im for it at 4 months. Already she'd rather stare at her polkadot curtains than go back to sleep at 5am, or play with her feet instead of nap.

Oh and another perk of a baby who sttn...lucky me, I got my period!

    Thank you for that link!

Now if only we were getting close to sttn
