My boys are here!

My boys decided to pick their own birthday two days before my scheduled c-section. My water broke at 5:20am the morning of the 27th, and I was able to labor and have them both vaginally thanks to the very experienced and laid back OB that was on call that day. He was willing to try a few things, like Pitocin, that some of the other OBs in the practice wouldn't have.

Tyler was born sunny side up at 9:42pm after almost two hours of pushing. After he was out, I could still feel baby b way up in the upper right hand corner of my belly. They elevated my back so that gravity would help bring him down into position. The OB waited until he had descended to break his bag of water to help prevent cord prolapse. Once his water was broken, Wyatt was out in three pushes at 10:43pm.

We are totally in love with our little guys, but their big brother is still trying to get used to them being here.
