Ugh... What a sad day.. :o(

This morning we found out that Jo's grandma, who has cirrhosis of the liver went into the hospital. This afternoon she was placed into palliative care. We started making travel arrangements so Jo could go back home to be with the family. Then we found out her grandma was placed in a medicated coma. Right then, we knew she would not make it through the night. My dad was placed in a medicated coma and he died about 6 hours after. So we just knew it.

Needless to say, we just found out about a half hour ago that she passed away.

What a roller coaster of a day, and I feel terrible for Jo's mom because her parents were headed out east. They are moving there to be closer to Jo's brother and the grand kids. They were in Quebec when they got the news this morning and were making there way back and didn't make it. She never got to see her mom again or say goodbye. So sad. :o(

Jo is still headed home tomorrow.
Tomorrow morning we are going to cheat and see if we get a positive on a HPT. I go for blood work Friday, so we are within the 4 days for the ClearBlue tests, so we will see what happens.

Our families need some good news. So if Jo can go home with news that we could be pregnant, pending Fridays blood work, I know that would make her mom a little happier.
I just hope we see something good and I don't send her off feeling worse...
So conflicted right now.
But she really wants to be here for the PT.

  • Good morning ladies.

Thank you for your kind words. It's been a rough year. Jo's grandpa died last year in July, now her grandma a year later. I lost two cousin last year, my Dad in Jan, his sister last month... What a year....

DW is leaving for Ontario in 30 min.. Well more like the 3.5 hour bus ride to the airport and then to Ontario.

We did the HPT this morning. There is a faint positive. Which is awesome. But now I'm wondering if it's just a faint positive because I still have hcg in my system from the trigger. It has been 12 days since the trigger.

I'll keep testing, and I go for my blood work Friday morning. So we will see what happens.

Just sucks that I could be dealing with BFN on my own... :o(

  • @Danni_Girl‌ - not to get your hopes up, but my trigger is usually gone way before day 12. Everyone is different, but I think there is a very good chance that the faint positive is the real deal.
