So in your houses..... Do you paint all the walls one color or do you mix it up?
We are buying a new house and he seems to think every room needs to be the same wall color.
I did put my foot down and said I was having a green bathroom.
But what does SAHM's think?

I will say this: Paint before you move in.
We bought a newly renovated house that had been painted all neutral (Realtors seem convinced you have to do this to sell a house), but we put color in the bedrooms and the kitchen. The rest of the house is relatively open and flows. The kitchen wall we painted is the only wall that doesn't have cabinets and appliances on it.
We also mixed up the color somewhat. We looked up the feng shui of light and colors and looked at where the windows were and when light would be coming in. Our master bedroom actually has 3 different colors. Our LO's room has 3 also, plus a painted ceiling. LOVE painted ceilings! And our office is painted in a color that is suppose to inspire productivity.
I do love all white walls as well if the decor and artwork is spot on.
Our bedrooms and bathrooms are all different from one another, some are painted, some have wallpaper,. Our kitchen and great room/foyer are open to each other so we have one color but added a one shade darker accent color on the wall with the fireplace.
As long as your colors aren't dark and bold, it's ok to have different colors in rooms that open up to each other as long as they complement each other.
