Welcome to the TTCAL March Check in. If you had a March EDD or loss date, no matter which year, you are welcome to join. If you haven't already participated in a check in, please post an intro and tell us a bit about yourself and why you are here. It will be posted weekly.  If you get a BFP please send PM to @frenchteachermama.  If you do not send her a PM she will not announce your BFP to the group.

IUI #1 5mg Femara + trigger = BFN
IUI #2 5mg Femara + trigger = BFN
IUI #3 5mg Femara + trigger = BFN
IVF #1, Stimmed for 12 days, ER 8/22/14, 9 retrieved, 7M, 7F!!  Freeze all due to fluid in uterus.
FET end of October 2014 cancelled due to fluid in uterus due to possible c-scar defect
Surgery scheduled 12/12/14 to fix possible isthmocele
3/26/15 transferred one 8 cell grade 4 embryo and one 6 cell grade 3 embryo = slow rising betas for 2+ weeks = ectopic MTX shot 4/29/15
Repeat c-scar surgery June 2015
2nd and last IVF cycle August 2015, stimmed for 12 days, 2 egg retrieved, both mature and both fertilized.  Transferred both 8-cell embryos on Day 3, beta 9/5/15 = BFFN
MOVING TO ADOPTION!

    AFM:  I have my teaching appointment this afternoon so I'll officially know my detailed IVF schedule this afternoon.  I found out the total for my medication yesterday and I just about fell over even though I knew it was coming.  It's hard to put your head around, spending all of this money for something that has no guarantee.  But I know I would hate myself if I didn't give it one last try.

    I'm still waiting on the revised offer with my funding for my doctorate program and I'm getting annoyed because I can't register for classes until it comes in and I hate not knowing what my schedule will be like in September.  I still haven't told my current employer that I won't be back next fall and I have to do that soon!!

    QOTW:  The coffee maker and DH grumbling about something he is reading.

    Hi @Frenchteachermama thanks for the check in! Yay for getting IVF schedule soon, that will probably be helpful for planning and decreasing anxiety.

    I feel pretty good. I'm comfortable with the plan of trying for a few more months and then going from there. I'm glad we're getting H's sperm looked at just to be sure. I think we'll try for 3 more months or so, then discuss the option of clomid.

    I think that sounds like a great plan.  I think the advice that some people on your OB post gave you was good...if you are going to do clomid you might want the support of an RE.  I absolutely love my new OB, but the support you get through the REs office is incredible.  Of course we will be here to support you too!!

    AFM, my week has been good. Work is busy. MH and I have been keeping busy with our fun plans. AF showed yesterday, and I am surprised at how quickly my body returned to "normal" after the D&C. I get to have my CD3 b/w and u/s tomorrow, and my SIS on Monday. Which also means I should be able to start BCP in a few days! Woo-hoo! No more charting to avoid!!! :)

    We should be able to plan our follow up with the RE in a few weeks (I just had my karyotyping and RPL b/w drawn on Friday). We'll see what the results of the testing show. If nothing, we will go ahead and have all the tests completed that the RI recommends, and head up to NY about 6 weeks after that for the full consult and treatment plan. I'm hoping for something obvious to come up in this first round of testing, but we'll see.

    QOTW: Cicadas in the back yard, and the clacking of my keyboard as I type. :) Working from home at the moment, but heading into the office soon, so my peace and quiet will disappear! :(
    That's so great that AF arrived so soon!  And also that you're able to get the show on the road with all of your testing and SIS!!  Do you live in NY state or you're going to travel to NY for treatment?

    Eww to cicadas.  We lived in New Jersey last year when they came out in full force.  It was so freaking disgusting.  Just walking from the parking lot to my house I would get them stuck in my hair!
