Thought it would be neat to put our resolutions here and hold each other responsible :-) So what is/are your New Year's Resolution(s)?
Mine are:
Stick to the budget that we came up with to help get further out of debt (paying off our cars this year is top priority!).
Spend more time with my friends, family (includes DH and DS), and myself. I have a hard time doing things for myself and I want to spend more time with family and friends this year because they mean a lot to me!
Re: New Year's Resolutions....
Mine are to get my house organized and to get myself in shape for the major surgery that will be taking place this year.
My main goal is to hang out with my two favorites men: Tim and Max.
I have a few...
1) Feed my family more organic... we buy some organic now (some produce and the kids juice, etc). But as of today we're doing all organic dairy (milk, cheese, yogurt, etc), select produce (i.e. "the dirty dozen") and juice, and also meat. By the way we are also going to try and eat more meatless meals.
2) Get my house organized!! We're going to try and sell this year so I've got the get things in better order before the baby comes!!
That's about it
Good luck to everyone with their resolutions!!

1. Stop swearing. I have a sailor mouth when I get pissed off.
2. Drop the weight. It's a requirement from my doc before we start to TTC again. I have to lose 15 pounds. It's only one of the things I can control to help prolong the pre-e next time.
3. Take Katie to the library reading sessions. She loves books so I want to get her more involved with story times.
Katie: 1/16/08 2lbs. 15oz.
Abby & Emily: 12/31/10 6lbs. 2oz. & 5lbs. 7oz.
I have a few too:
1. Stop swearing. I have a potty mouth sometimes-especially when driving, and I shudder to think what Brenna's first sentence might be if I don't stop.
2. Go greener. I am already doing many things to make our way of living greener, but would like to do more.
3. Intensify my workouts.
4. Better meal planning to stop the frequent grocery store trips DH makes. This one also includes eating out much less than we do now. I love to cook, but do not do well with planning ahead for it.
1. Get the house more organized. Sure, it was my resolution last year, too. I did make some improvement, though, so there's promise for this year.
2. Always ask myself, "Where am I going to store this?" before I buy something. I always mean to ask myself this and always forget. Maybe I need to put a little note in my wallet.
3. Try to get DD to branch out and try some new healthy foods.
None of mine are super-important but are goals I'd like to accomplish in 2009 and beyond.
I want to spend the rest of the winter organizing our basement so that I can become a licensed in-home daycare.
I want to create and stick to a better budget for our family once I quite my job. We've had one in place for years but never really followed it. I want to look for ways to cut costs and save money. I also want to be diligent at contributing to Allie's college fund.
I want to take Allie for a walk around the neighborhood every day that the weather is nice.
I want to have a card in the mail, on time, for each of our large extended family's birthdays, anniversaries and other important events. It's always nice to get a personal card in the mail so I hope to brighten their special days.
I'd also like to clean up my mouth. I caught myself saying "J is for jacka$$" while singing to Allie at 3am the other morning. It totally just slipped out and I felt so bad. Whoops.

1) Do a better job at organizing and cleaning the house. I dread trying to keep the house neat when it goes up on the market. :-(
2) MAKE myself exercise and eat healthier snacks to set good examples for Caleb
3) Do a better job of putting money in the savings account.
4) Friday nights = fun and quality time with DH....no more housework
5) FINALLY get our wills and life insurance situation under control.
