Hopefully someone hasn't already asked this, I would have done a search, but I'm mobile (currently getting an NST)
I've been going to acupuncture routinely for the last year. I currently go for weekly treatments, and at 38 weeks we'll start trying to induce labor with acupuncture. (Disclaimer- I have insulin dependent Gestational Diabetes, so I won't be allowed to go much further than my EDD)
Any STMs already do this? I'm worried that since I'd still be trying to get my body to do something that it wasn't doing completely on my own, that the experience may be less pleasant/more painful. Thoughts? Experience?
Re: Acupuncture to induce labor
I haven't researched anything about it myself and honestly didn't even know that was possible until she told me about it. I'd be interested to hear others experiences though
Coming.
