Nursing 13months and period returning.

My daughter is 13months and we are still nursing. I thought I was getting my period last week for the first time but it was just light brownish pink spotting for about 3days and some cramping. I nursed my son 12montha and didn't get my period until after he stopped, I just don't remember how it happened. and i know everytime is different but is random spotting leading up to your cycle coming back normal?

    When my daughter was 12 months, I returned to work but I still nursed her morning and night.  After I was back at work for a couple months, I started to get some spotting and then my period returned and has been on its regular montly cycle since then.

    I'm not much help but I'm in a similar boat -- LO is 1 year old and I've had spotting for a couple days but no real period yet.

    Pretty much the same here. I spotted at the end of June. I'm calling it my first pp period! Ds just turned one last week and still nurses on demand.
