If you don't check-in for 3 weeks you'll be removed from the list but we'll happily add you back next time you check in! Hi ladies,

Hope all is well.

I am STILL waiting for my biopsy results; I'm getting more impatient and anxious everyday.

Definitely leaning towards transferring the last 2 in August, despite the results. I don't see the benefit of "verifying" the window of implantation. It either will be and I will waste another month, be on meds for another month and have to repeat the biopsy...wait 3 weeks for the results. I don't think so. I think we need to just do the transfer on the recommended window of receptivity. It either is or it's not. The idea of being stuck in this limbo much longer will make me lose my mind.

Other than that, still looking into our next steps after this FET.

Qotw - I actually don't like to travel. I like to be at home or only go away for a weekend and even then I get homesick

Hope I get my results and they are favorable and I hope everyone else has a good week!!!

Check in: Not too much going on here. We had a minor scare last week when our GC went to labor and delivery because she was having back pain. Nothing was wrong and our little guy looked great, so at least it ended well. DH and I have started talking about nursery decorations and names. I love all this fun stuff!

QOTW: DH and I went to Italy when I was in college. It was awesome! We went to Venice, Rome, Pisa, and Florence. Everything was beautiful and the sights were amazing...however Pisa was a huge letdown and for anyone who ever wants to travel to Italy, I highly recommend skipping Pisa altogether. To get into the tower translated to about $45 (the most expensive place we attempted to go to...and we went to a lot of cathedrals) and the city was just one big tourist trap.

@JimBobCooter FX for great CD 3 tests from your donor!

AFM: 24 days until our consult with Dr. KK. I can't remember if I updated here, but we decided to focus on one last cycle with my eggs and put off donor eggs. DH is still adament that we use donor sperm (he thinks we need to try something different, that obviously my eggs + his sperm doesn't work for us). I have a consult with the other RE at my clinic the end of September and I am excited about switching docs. I feel like we need a fresh start with a doc that hasn't given up on us. Right now I am just focusing on losing some weight (I'm almost down 10lbs, so off to a good start) and getting healthier to give my crappy eggs the best shot they have. Right now I am feeling positive about our treatment plan.

QOTW: The furthest I have traveled is to the UK for a work trip. Our UK office is in a tiny town about an hour outside of London. We spent a few days there working out of that office (mostly meeting with our CEO). It's definitely culture shock traveling outside of the US, but it was a great experience. We ended up staying in London over the weekend and doing some tourist stuff. While I would never want to live in London, it was a great place to visit.

I'm having a c-section tomorrow at 7am! It got moved up by a week due to the fact I've developed mild pre-e. I am in utter disbelief that our baby girl will be here this time tomorrow. Happy tears being shed over here!

@liz4paws, good luck tomorrow!! I've been stalking your blog and can't believe how quickly this has all gone! I remember not so long ago when you transferred your two snowflakes!

@Twinkie0612, I'm glad to hear that you are happy with your plan. It makes me squirm to wait around like this, so I know it's hard. Congratulations on your weight loss! Keep it up!!

@JimBobCooter, fingers are seriously crossed for your donor's testing! I hope this is it!!

@Km672, I'm so sorry that you're still waiting for your results. I hope they come back soon and that it's good news. I can definitely understand the need to move on.

AFM, we saw our first profile on Thursday last week! Our clinic's program shows us one at a time based on our specifications. I'm happy to do it this way because I am the type who gets overwhelmed and freezes up if I have too many options. We kinda figured the first profile wouldn't be it, and we were very quick to move on. We are waiting for the next profile, and somehow I'm at peace with all of this. I used to feel like I had to be in a rush, but now I'm ok with the waiting. I don't know if it's that deep down, I am afraid to try again. I shouldn't be - this time we have a lot more reason to be hopeful!

I started BCPs yesterday. Mainly so that I won't get my period for my Dr. KK appointment (29 days away!!). But also because I am SO SICK of my ovaries. I feel ovulation pains for 5-6 days around O, and then PMS is horrible. Horrible!! I was so out of my mind this time... I hate the way that the hormones take over. So I am on the pill until we are ready to do our DEgg cycle. My ovaries are fired!!

QOTD: I live on the east coast in the US... I've traveled to Europe for two music tours in high school and college... Italy, Germany, Switzerland, France, Austria... we played concerts and did all of the touristy things. It was amazing and exhausting at the same time!

AFM 9 weeks today! Still feeling yucky. My boss called this morning and said they decided not to take me to Nantucket with them in 2 wks. As much as I whine going with them it is beautiful there and I figured this would be my last time and I was going to enjoy it.

They realize pg people do travel but they are being so protective of me. They said god forbid something did happen and weather is so unpredictable there that they worry I couldn't get off the island if needed. Oh well sounds silly but guess they are just keeping my best interest in mind

QOTD: I traveled to Croatia and toured while in a junior tamburtizan group back in high school. Beautiful!! Been to Serbia twice to visit family. Both my parents are from there so all my aunts and uncles and cousins live there. It makes me sad

Oh and that's a 9/10 hr flight. No idea how some stay on a plane longer than that!! I'm too antsy but wish I had opportunities to travel more.

Hugs to those who need them, fingers crossed for those cycling/waiting for results, and cheers to those who had a wonderful week!

AFM, I officially graduated from the endocronologist this week (11 weeks along) - they were all really wonderful as I was a patient that was there longer than most given my medical history and the procedures that I was required to have before they would move forward with me. This Friday we have the integrated scan/nuchal translucency test and then the following Friday I see my ob. We're heading to out of town this weekend and I couldn't more excited for a little getaway.

The farthest I've been is to Greece for our honeymoon - it was an incredible trip! I've also been very lucky and have the opportunity to travel to France, Italy, Monaco, London, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, not to mention about half the US states. I love, love, love to travel.

thinking of all of you ladies. what we have each endured and are currently going through is amazing. so few can grasp the enormity of it all!

Update: I went in for monitoring this morning and they saw at least eight (but usually underestimate for me by 2-3 using u/s) and guessed that I would probably trigger tomorrow with retrieval on Thursday. I am waiting for the call back (after E2 results, it was 1790 on Saturday) to confirm. I am so happy considering our cancelled cycle in May had only 4 and my AFC this cycle was only 3!

EAIF/EAL Update:

Squirt is still doing great. We have a fetal echocardiogram on Thursday that I won't be able to attend if ER is Thursday. MH is going to go, so I feel OK that at least one of us is there. No issues anticipated, just something this practice does for every IVF pregnancy.

QOTW: the furthest I have traveled is Montreal. I am so lame! MH served with the Army in Korea.

Hugs to everyone! We went to the second US last Friday. It was so cool! We got to see the feet & arms wiggle a bit, several times. I have been trying to keep even keeled emotionally throughout, but the waterworks started as soon as they wiggled. Got to see the heart beating as well as hear it. Truly amazing. Can't believe we have to wait till Oct for the next one. Tomorrow will be 10 weeks. QOTW - The longest travel day would be 36 hours to Singapore when I was in college, We took a production of Oklahoma to Kuala Lumpur & Singapore. Love traveling on someone else's dime! I have the travel bug bad & I hope I get to share that with the gummy bear.

Grateful to report that biopsy results are in and uterus us receptive. Waiting for AF to start new transfer. RE wants to be aggressive and transfer 3! This will be my third transfer so hoping that third time's a charm!

Woohoo they had a cancellation at my clinic. My consult with the new RE is now scheduled for August 5th. I am sure that I still won't be able to cycle before November at the earliest since I will be working with Dr. KK and immune treatments can delay things, but it's nice to feel like I am moving forward.

We had another early labour scare last night, Surro/niece was having braxton hicks again, this time last 30 seconds every 10 minutes, but they never progressed and after an hour they went away, so we are still (thankfully) waiting. QOTW: Back when I was a professional skier, I traveled to Japan to do some training there, which is 5000 miles away from where we are. In all honesty, I was there for a month and didn't see much outside the ski slopes. It was amazing though, and I'd love to go back and actually see Japan.

Hi, all! I'm always late to the check-ins. The news with me is that tomorrow (Weds.) evening I go in for my induction, for a birth likely sometime on Thursday 7/24. Please send prayers/thoughts/good vibes my way!

The farthest I think I've ever been is southern Chile and Argentina (Patagonia). It really feels like the end of the earth down there. It's vast and even the clouds are different.

We had the anatomy scan yesterday and both girls are perfect! They are 14 and 15 ounces or "2 beer cans" per the MFM. So happy! Still not feeling movement yet....

Furthest trip was Europe-- it was a 3 week tour after law school.

Hello!

Hugs to everyone who could use one today.

We had our first u/s yesterday at 6w6d, I was pretty anxious beforehand but our doctor said everything looks perfect and our little peanut is growing right on track (currently measuring at 1 cm which kind of blows my mind!!)...AND to our surprise we got to hear a nice strong heart beat. Yesterday was truly an incredible day.

We will be transferring to my OB/GYN now - we could've stayed with my RE for another u/s in 10 days but we've been paying out of pocket since they don't take our insurance, so we would rather transfer now. I know we aren't out of the risky period yet, but I'm feeling optimistic.

I traveled to England and Ireland (from CA) with 3 other girlfriends in my mid twenties. We had such an amazing time, wandering around, exploring, a lil partying and meeting tons of people...still keep in touch with some of the friends we made abroad.

Lupron shot is in aug and then the fun begins. FET is sept 11th!!

Update: We made it through our first plane trip with both kids. They both did really well actually. It was great to be there to celebrate my husband's cousin's wedding with the family.

QOTW: I think the farthest I've been is the Hungary/Slovakia area. I went on a great trip in high school to Chiapas, Mexico before it became more dangerous to travel there.

Sorry for the late check-in ladies!

PAIF response below:

I had my 28 week MFM appointment last week and everything is still looking good and on track. I actually just found out Friday that I PASSED my 1 hour GD test, so I'm very happy about that!

I was nervous because at my 24 week appointment, the MFM said baby boy was measuring on the "higher end" (which I thought could be a sign of GD). At 28 weeks, he's right smack in the middle of "normal" which is a relief, although I know measurements can and will change as we get closer. I also signed up for a childbirth class (in August), so that just makes things feel more real.

Sending hugs to anyone that needs them this week! I often think of those still cycling and struggling, so please know you're in my T&P's.

Finally, shout outs to some of the recent rainbow babies that have arrived, including @DoublePortion, congrats on your twins, @Liz4Paws, congrats on little Sammy and @brooklynesque, I hope all went well this week!

Hey everyone! GL to anyone cycling currently and (((hugs))) to anyone that needs them.

Update: we have a new profile and are looking at a transfer around the end of August or beginning of September (September is more likely). This week I need to get a baseline u/s done and they also want me to get an HSG. I had one done years ago but they want another one done since I haven't been able to get and stay pregnant yet through 4 DE IVFs. They mentioned a hysteroscopy but only if I traveled out to their clinic (why, I have no idea). But I don't have time this week to fly out there for that so an HSG it is.

QOTW: I traveled across Europe with a group from high school (18 years ago - wow!). We visited England, France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, and Germany. I loved it, and would love to go back to many of the places we went.
