Charting During IUI Cycle - No O Yet?

After having had a +OPK test on Wednesday evening, I had back-to-back IUIs on Thursday/Friday. I've been charting my basel body temperature, as I've done for the past year, and I've yet to see a thermal shift that would indicate that I ovulated. I was expecting a temp rise on Saturday morning to confirm, but my temp dropped instead. My temperature was low again this morning. Chart in my siggy, and linked here.

I'm really worried that we may end up not having the greatest timing. I'm also worried that if I haven't ovulated, then the follicles could turn into cysts.

I've e-mialed my nurse coordinator about my concerns, but wondering if any of you ladies have experience with this. Should I be worried, or am I overthinking this? Could Clomid impact by body temp this far into my cycle? Any other tips/advice? Thanks!

I agree that I don't see a shift yet to indicate O. I have read that clomid can affect temps but I'm not sure in what way. Did you have ultrasounds to see how many follies and what size they were before the IUIs? I'm sorry you are going through this. I would definitely try to talk with someone today!

Yes! I had an ultrasound on Thursday before my first IUI. Had 5 follies, two in the 13/14 MM rang, and then 3 in the high 17MM range. Doc seemed surprised by my early +OPK, but once he took a look, he seemed to think it was on track. He didn't do an ultrasound on Friday, but commented that my cervix was more open for the catheter. He also instructed DH and I to have sex Saturday night.

Although, the temp drop is confusing to me because I thought it made you hotter (hello, hot flashes!) I hope that helps and FX that your timing was good!

Yeah, I've been blasting my AC, lol. Overall my temps are much higher than normal. In previous months, my pre-O temps would be high 96s/low 97s, and post-O would be high 97s/low98s.

Heard back from my nurse coordinator and she is just flat out ignoring all of my questions and concerns. Her response was that doc wants me to come in on CD21 for bloodwork. No shit, that's standard! Ugh. She pretty much said they'd be able to tell me if I ovulated or not from that test and I'll just have to wait.

Looks like DH and I will aim for every other day or so to at least have a shot at decent timing. I just can't believe how much money we've spent for this and it's all going to be for nothing. Because there is no way those swimmers from my IUIs have a chance now. && Yay for sticking catheters up my ute for no reason!!

I would be so pissed! My RE's office draws blood to check my LH level based on my mid-cycle u/s, since I don't turn OPKs positive anyway. So far using that for timing has been awesome. My 1st cycle they could tell I was going to O on my own within the next day, 2nd cycle they could see that I needed a trigger shot, 3rd cycle I was basically in the process of ovulation and we were able to do the IUI that afternoon (I took 3 opks the day before and the best I got was an "almost positive" at 11pm).
I've been doing medicated cycles too but I haven't had a problem with my temps (confirmed o with temps for each medicated cycle). Is that issue specific to clomid (I'm on femara)?
