Ok two more things

I was sick throwing up 2 nights ago. Could that have been pregnancy sick or way too early? Must have been virus. 2nd thing. I had a bad episode of hives that day too and allergist put me on prednisone. I am scared to take the next dosage today if I am really pregnant. What do I do? No doctors are around today and my OBGYN is closed on Fridays.

    Congrats on your BFP.

    If I were you, I'd call the dr oncall for your OB/GYN and see what they say. FWIW, I know of 2 gals (Mipper and Gregsbride) who had to take prednisone for medical reasons and were nervous too, but I think the benefits of taking prednisone outweighed the risks in their situations.

    I really don't know -- I agree with wowway to call the oncall Doctor and ask.  I had nausea a few days before BFP -- but not to the point of throwing up.

    Hi sweetie - call your OB office & listen to the message b/c there SHOULD be an on-call MD number for you to reach the OB on call :)  Prednisone is one of those GREY area drugs, it's a Cat. "C" - which most likely is FINE, but it's best to weight the benefits & risks with your OB.

    This is so wonderful :)  Don't freak - just start calling & get an answer :)
