Boiling water initially, then they'll be going in the dishwasher. Microwave sanitizers are huge and basically unnecessary. If you feel that you must sterilize every time, it really doesn't take much longer to boil a pot of water on the stove, and you won't have to find a place to store that huge plastic contraption.
Yup, for the first few weeks we just kept the stock pot sitting out on the stove. As parts needed to be sanitized, we just threw them in the pot, waiting for a big batch and boiled water.
If we can't wait for a load to run, we will hand wash and we do have a microwave sanitizer. DH picked it up at some point. No clue why, but we do use it on rare occasions.
Medela steam bags here. Mostly just use hot soapy water. I think last time I only sanitized when I first got bottles and before I put them away for next baby.
