  Good story. Honestly, I'm nervous to be a parent in today's day and age. My 3 yo was in my backyard playing yesterday. I had to run inside because Nathan woke up. It made me uneasy that my child was outside (in my perfectly safe cul-de-sac neighborhood) becuse of stories like these not because of his safety.

  Very interesting. I agree with the guy. Sad that the way things have become makes perfectly reasonable parents question perfectly reasonable decisions. And I will be honest: I would have let my 11 year old niece sit in the car for a few minutes whileI ran in somewhere quickly without thinking anything of it.
