DivaCup, anyone??

I've been reading about the DivaCup for a few months, and threw one in my amazon cart awhile back.  Then I went and spent $18 for 2 boxes of tampons last weekend and decided to revisit it (ughhhh $18 for something I'm going to throw directly in the trash...).

Purchased one tonight, and am kind of (weirdly) excited to see how it works.  Does anyone on here use one?  They have a million reviews online, but I'd love to hear about pros/cons from anyone on here with experience.

  • I've never heard of it going to have to google it now!

I have the Lunnette one for years & love it. The Diva is the most known in the states but when I researched comparisons the Diva cup did not do well. I love my cup, I did trim the stem & never had issues. I do have to use a tampon the first night or two of my cycle because of the laying down factor I leak but after the first night or two I rarely bleed during the night so I can switch back. The cup is definetly cheaper & more comfortable.
  • I used them and liked it once I got the hang of it. I also used them for ttc, someone on fertility friend said to pop one in after sex. It didn't work.

I don't really use them now, no reason really.

  • It takes some getting used to regarding the placement but they are awesome. Removing it is kinda gross because there's always some spillage but if you can get past that you'll love them too.
  • I use SoftCup. I love it. It's a mess when you're flowing heavy, but 1 box will last me 2 cycles.
