Hello Ladies!

I'm on vacation so I don't have my laptop (along with my check in template) so I hope you don't mind if this is a very informal check in.

How are you all doing? Any updates?

BFP #1: 6/25/09 EDD 2/13/10 @ 6 weeks- Saw HB @ 9 weeks - DS born 2/11/10 (39w5d)
BFP #2: 2/20/13 EDD 11/4/13 - Saw HB 3/19/13 (7w2d) - MMC discovered 4/13/13 (10w5d) - Est. loss @ 9w3d - D&C 4/14/13
BFP #3: 12/19/13 (4 w1d) EDD 8/27/14 - 1/1/14 discovered it was ectopic/ tube had burst/ had surgery to remove tube (@ 6 weeks)
BFP #4: 9/10/14 (3w6d) EDD 5/21/15 - natural MC 9/23/14 @ 5w5d
BFP #5: 11/23/14 (3w3d) EDD 8/4/15 - Please be our Rainbow!

    If you look in the TP thread, you'd see I'm having a hard afternoon having received a similac starter sample pack which was just a shitty reminder that I should have been due in less than a month. (And as a warning to you ladies as I don't know if it was tb or some other websites they got my edd and address from).
    Otherwise I had been doing OK this week but I think I'll be having a pitty party the rest of the day.
    QOTW - BBQ with potato salad and corn on the cob screams summer to me.

    TTC since July 2009. Dx MFI & LPD.

    IUI#4 1/23/13 on 75iu x9 Follistim = BFP then chem preg m/c (Feb 2013)

    Saw heartbeat twice before missed M/C at 8w3d on 12/27/13, missing my little angel boy

    Hi Ladies,

     

    @katib77--I'm so sorry that happened to you. That really sucks.  I totally know how these unsolicited emails can derail me, but to get a package...ughh.  You deserve the pity party, but try to make it a fun one--with a glass of bubbly or a cupcake or a great love story movie.

    @mara005--thanks for the checkin on vacation--you're amazing!  where are you? forgive me if you said and I've forgotten.

     

    As for me, I am on CD 11, and I took all of my Clomid pills (50 mg).  the round of clomid wasn't bad. I got a persistent dull headache on day 2, but other than that, I've been ok.  we'll see what happens! no positive opks yet, but that would be early.

    QOTW--man this is a tough one!  for me, it would have to be grilled veggies--eggplant. plus any greek food.

    @sfazar‌ I'm in New Hampshire ( I grew up here) because DH had a conference so I tagged along to see my family.

    Really glad to hear that the clomid wasn't to bad, I have heard some horror stories (eek!).

    @mara005‌ glad you got a chance to get away to see the family.

    @sfazar‌ I too had very little side effects from clomid. Do you have a monitoring apt set for tomorrow? I always had a dominant follie (or three) ready for O by cd12 (but then I was also always doing trigger and IUI so not sure how they do it for TI if that's what you're doing).

    @katib77    Thanks for your questions. I really appreciate your sharing your clomid experiences--this is all so new to me, and I have very little communication again from my doctor. He has not been monitoring me except for a "good luck" and writing the prescription. He briefly mentioned having me come in for a progesterone test on CD 21 to see if I ovulated (as a part of the process), but I don't have an order for blood work, and now knowing that you were going in earlier in your cycle, I think I should give the office a call to clarify tomorrow.

    I've been thinking of you and sending good vibes, so I'm sorry you had a rough day.  I was feeling shaky today too and then I got some good news that my dog's heartworm test came out negative for the baby worms. FX that means they are ALL gone but we have to wait for antigen tests. I swear, though, it felt like such a weight had been lifted.  I know you have a bright spot on the horizon too  :)

    Even for TI they should do one monitoring around now of at least an U/S to see if it's working for you or not. (Or working too well if you know what I mean).
