Labor?

I am 38 weeks today and my babies head has been engaged for about a week and a half. He has dropped and everyone who sees me says, "he will be here so soon!" I've lost my mucus plug over the course of a few weeks and the last three days I've had diarrhea. Sorry TMI!

This morning my lower back started hurting, a dull pain as well as under my belly in the front. It sort of feels like period cramping but I also feel like it's been such a long time I can't remember lol!

Has anyone else experienced this? I am a first time mom so I have no idea what to expect.
