Big Sis shirt under 2T

Please someone tell me there is such a thing. I cannot for the life of me find a "Big Sister" shirt in 12-18 months. We planned on using the shirt to announce this pregnancy but I'm starting to think we're going to have to figure out something else.

We have a 2t one from Carter's. Would it be so bad if it was a little big? If you know a little sewing, you could make the top shorter.

You could go the DIY route - Get a pack of ink jet printer iron on transfers ($7/8 at the office supply store) and a plain onesie or shirt. Google image search for big sister or do something in Microsoft Word and voila.

I did this when I couldn't find a first birthday shirt I liked and got so many compliments on how cute it was (I used an image I found online) no one could tell it was home made.

I had the most difficult time finding a 18 mo big brother shirt! I searched everywhere! I ended up buying a 2T shirt and tried shrinking it, but it's still too big unfortunately!

I found this shirt and added the "OR". My brother, SIL, and MIL got it right away. My Dad and FIL didn't, it had to be explained to them. But it did the job. I scoured our second hand store until I found SOMETHING that worked. It was actually a 6 month onsie and I just cut the crotch off.

I made this "Big Bro" shirt for our 16 Month old to announce to the family. Almost no one got it right away. And some of them thought that he was just wearing the shirt but we forgot to tell them. I said "This is us telling you".

I found one from a second hand shop that was an 18month. I believe it was 'Carter' brand. Maybe check if you have a 'Once Upon A Child' store near you. I LOVE mine!

Push comes to shove you could always DIY one - go to Hobby Lobby or any craft store and pick up the iron on letters & a tee in her size.

I just bought a "Big Cousin to be" shirt from cafe press. They had many under 2T.

I saw @mayaruthie mentioned this as well. These were my favorite when I was looking. Also, on most shirts when you click on it, there are additional sizes listed on the original image.
