feeling lost and confused

hi everyone, new here. could use some advice, not sure how much info to give, (if more is need ask,i'm not shy about sharing if it helps) my last period came on july 7th last 5 days long. i tested for ovulation all week and we had sex twice on days to best get pregnant. but for some weird reason i start to bleed saturday evening. still going in case you're wondering. its way too soon to be my next period. so whats going on?

    did you chart?  if not, an opk tells you are most likely to ovulate, but is does not confirm ovulation.  Temping is the only way to confirm ovulation.

    If you were not temping and cannot confirm ovulation, my only guess is possible an annovulatory cycle.

    OPKs are for prediction purposes only.  They detect the LH surge, in some people they will detect multiple surges.  The only thing that can confirm ovulation, besides ultrasound is temping

    @lizzmac21‌ Same exact thing is going on with me! I'm planning to make a doc appt just to see whats going on.

    If you start bleeding every two weeks, and not just as a fluke, then a trip to the doctor is likely merited.  I've had this happen a few times, though not in the past 5 years or so.  It's usually a freak cycle, and then I go back to normal.

    Doesn't the LH surge just predict that O is about to happen (like within the next 3 days?). I don't think the LH surge perfectly corresponds with O.

    There is zero reason for your appointment. Way to waste everyone's time and money.

    i stop birth control beginning of june,

    not sure why it happened,but it looks and feels (had some cramping today) like my period. i don't temp, i use those Wondfo ovulation tests, Allows me to easily identify the LH Surge.   i hoping this is just a fluke if it happens again i will then go see the doctor.
