   U/S #1, 12/23: gestational sac, possible heartbeat
  U/S #2, 12/30: HEARTBEAT! 128bpm, measuring right on at 7w EDD: 8/19/2015

  Well, gee. I'm apparently the only one out there who is not a Penelope fan. I think it looks and sounds weird, just awkward to me. I love Piper, and I don't think the OITNB reference is well known enough to keep you from using it.

  I realize I'm in the minority here but I vote piper! I don't get the Penelope craze at all for some reason it reminds me of antelope (no idea why!). That being did I like names that many people on here side-eye

  I guess Piper. I'm not wild about Piper (too cutesy for me) but I don't get the Penelope craze on this board either; I have always found Penelope an extremely odd-sounding and awkward-sounding name.

  Penelope for sure. I don't love Penelope a lot but I do love the nickname abundance. I never thought too much about Piper but after watching the OITNB I will never forget when Nichols asks Piper if she prefers pipe as her name suggests.   overwhelmingly Penelope. Piper used to be my #1 name til i realized how many Pipers there are in my are and how many people name their cats Piper. lol

  I think Penny is a precious nn for Penelope. I used to love Piper, but now I'm kind of over it.

  Started adoption process in Jan. 2011.
  

  3 failed matches in 2012.

  Surprise pregnancy in Aug. 2012.
  Precious baby boy "HC" born May 2013.

  Began researching EA in 2014.

  No longer pursuing EA due to fibroid complications.
