ear pierce when is a good time and what would you do after ?

I'm afraid I don't know when? I am tired every where we go I hear people say (he) is so cute and I am like {SHE IS A SHE} come on she is wearing pink all over !

Had DD done at 8 wks and ppl still ask sometimes. I would think the pink carrier and tutu might be a clue. People are dumb

People say "he's so cute" to my DD all the time. Mostly I just say thanks and move along. Who cares what strangers think?

We had DD2s done at 8wks. And yes people still think she's a boy! Must be her comb over? But we had DD1s done at 12wks.

I don't understand baby ear piercing unless it's a cultural marker. Heck, I could do it as a cultural marker and I still don't get it. I like giving kids the choice on body modifications once they're older. If you want people to know your baby is a girl, dresses or a headband is a much less permanent solution. People are pretty obtuse, though, so you could always put her in a shirt that says "I'm a GIRL," just to be safe.

I think people assume babies are whatever they have of their own. I always assume a baby is a boy because I have two boys. Unless of course she's in bright pink...
