TTC #1..FRUSTRATED!!!

Heyyyyyy!!!!!
My fiance and I have been trying to conceive our first child together for about a year and 6 months now and i've just given up hope. When we first started trying and noticed noticing that nothing was happening we went to my 1st OBGYN and he said PCOS!!! Like flipping great- make my life harder!!! Because im just in my early twenties i want to do everything as natural as possible so I exercised and started eating healthier. But it seems nothing was working and i started to think that it was my fault that i was doing something wrong. So i decided to get a second option OBGYN #2 recently said just to start charting and figuring out when I "O" ands when my temp peaks. But truthful ttc is very consuming i cant think of anything else other then and its  getting frustrated because it seems everyone i am in contact with is getting PREGNANT and HAVING BABIES!!! ahhhhhhhhhhh

Forgive my ranting Baby Dust for all!!! it seems like im just lucky that way -_-

    Sorry about your PCOS diagnosis.  However... you're 20 and "everyone" around you is having kids?  Mmmmmm I doubt it.   You have another 15 years or so of being in within normal range for getting pregnant...so there is absolutely no rational reason to be flipping out so much right now.

    Your OB suggested temping and charting to make sure that you're ovulating and timing intercourse for your fertile period.    A year and half, or 5 years of sex outside of your fertile window will result in not getting pregnant.

    Once you and your OB can take a look at your cycles, if you're still not getting pregnant, they should refer you to a Reproductive Endocrinologist.

    No thanks on dust of any kind.

    You are not alone, been trying for close to 3 years, though hard, am glad it has taught me to count my blessing and acknowledge that it is God that gives children, and am still waiting on Him

    OP, I have pcos and know how frustrating it can be. Eating healthy is a good start, but sometimes it does unfortunately take medication to help. I second the advice of temping to see if you are ovulating, and going to see an RE. I take metformin and it has really helped me. You might want to look into that. Good luck!

    I would definitely start temping and see an RE. You get the best information about your cycle from temping.
