Getting my hair done today. I need it ladies, my roots are obscene. Also today is my 1st shower. It's being hosted by my Rocky family.

We're going to a British Pub in Half Moon Bay for karaoke. I decided I am singing Disney princess songs only. Even got my own CDs so I'd have the songs I wanted.

Y'all!! I made it to 64 oz of water yesterday! I usually only make it to 32oz before I start giving into drinking anything else and I never get back to water.

My day is terribly boring. DH is golfing 36 today; the second 18 is with a bunch of guys from his college team, so I don't expect him home until late. Was supposed to have lunch with a friend, but she just canceled. I'm sitting in Starbucks making edits to a 150 slide presentation that one of my consultants is giving Tuesday morning for a project we are concluding. Awesome Saturday!!!

Nothing going on here. I have no female friends who live close so I live vicariously through you ladies and all of the fun stuff you are doing.

I feel pretty sad that all my randoms revolve around my son. I'd get a life but I'm pretty sure with twins coming I'd be a sucky friend.

Some more randomness -

1. I love this thread. I feel like someone always says this on this thread and today is my day. Probably because I just wanna say some random crap and it seems like most of my irl friends are gone.

2. I miss my hubby. He is in OK for the weekend (as usual). I didn't go this weekend and I get crazy emotional every time he goes. We had a really awful and rocky 2013 so I just appreciate every minute with him so much more now and I hate being away from him.

3. I just had some of my mom's mojito flavored crystal light and as a result I just want to sit at a bar.

I'm clearly in a mood. Sorry to be a downer.

My roots are crazy horrible and since I've turned 30, I can no longer keep up with plucking out gray hairs.

. Gotta get that hair done soon! Going to a free concert in prospect park tonight and definitely planning on napping. I love weekends because of naps.

I still haven't done my monthly belly pic (28) weeks and I am 29 weeks 3 days. I think DH was kinda bummed. Normally my mom andi do it but i haven't felt like it / keep forgetting. Last night he said he would take it.

I'm out looking at apartments and furniture for my mom. I'm so proud of her for getting out and coming all the way here. I just hope she loves it here as much as I do, and really gets to start her life again.

Also, we are about to eat a late lunch and I want all the cheeseburgers and dessert.

We were camping from Sunday to Thursday, so have spent the past two days cleaning up and putting things away.

I'm so in the mood to start nesting! I cleaned/organized my linen closet this morning. I'd love to start getting stuff ready for baby, but my SIL hasn't returned what I loaned her yet.

DH is watching golf on TV and I can't stop making "That's what she said" jokes. Seriously if someone says something about firmer grip or a nice shaft again I might lose it.

In other news, I canned pickles today and one of my jars broke, so that was a bummer. We're being pretty chill this weekend.

I had the craziest dream last night. I dreamed I gave birth to a full grown chihuahua in a shopping mall. This apparently was a normal thing in dream land. I was having trouble with bfing and the LC was all like 'it's just a dog, don't even bother, here's some formula.' So I told DH and he was like 'no way are we paying that much to feed a dog. You need to make bfing work.'

I completely blame the book rant thread yesterday.

DH and I just got back from a family wedding. We ending up leaving after dinner and first dances. Normally I would feel bad about leaving early but considering that the ceremony was a 2 pm and we then attend a two and a half hour cocktail "hour", I decided that five hours was long enough and I was wilting.

Let's see. . . Dental cleanings for both DH and I. Also checked to see when we should start to bring LO in.
Breakfast after said cleanings.

Then nap
I got a pedi done. My butt was numb from sitting in the chair for so long.
Finally got DH to start moving again to frame some pictures he want for his office at work.
Got some dinner
Now both DH and I are on the couch on our phone and tablet. Not talking to each other.
Focusing on what our eyes are on.

Sad and boring day.

I taught a Zumba class this morning and I have spent the rest of the day laying on the couch with my cat watching Grey's Anatomy. Saturdays are usually lame because the husband has to work.

Went and snuggled my bestie's new baby.. took the kids to see hot air balloons.. 3d ultrasound tomorrow! My (presumably) hungover husband will be meeting us there- hes at a high school friend's wedding two hours away and is spending the night there!
Oh and I got to eat fair food today! Nom!

I reallt do have mommy brain. As posted before I live in KY with my husband and work in michigan 2 times per month (where my family is). We were short staffed through the next week so I offered to stay longer and pick up the shifts we were short figured the extra money would help with the baby coming so soon. No the day before I would originally leave to go back home I just realized this was supposed to be my couple days without DS because my mom was going to keep him so I could actually go out with my husband. Just had the epiphone that I jeopardized some alone time with my husband that I haven't had since finding out I was pregnant
