I posted this on our Facebook page earlier when this happened (around 6pm) Ok ladies- I need your opinions on this. Emmett was running and slipped on the kitchen floor and smacked his forehead off the floor. Instant goose egg as you can see. We were going to take him to med express since it's 2 mins away but they said they don't do head traumas. We're home now instead of rushing down to the ER bc he's acting fine- eating and drinking still and his eyes look normal. I think we were just in shock at first. I know they say goose eggs are better out than in (obviously). I'm going to watch for tiredness, vomiting and I'll probably just let him sleep with us tonight. What do you guys think? Anything else I should do? He won't let me out ice or a cold wash rag on his head. Should I give him Tylenol or not? My poor baby.
Re: My poor baby!!! (PIP)
Yikes! Poor little guy.
It's probably okay if he's acting normal and there are no other concerning signs of serious head injury, but I can see still feeling worried about it. That looks awful. Since it was an instant goose egg it seems like that would be more likely to be swelling associated with surface trauma as opposed to injury inside the skull, right?
Hope the swelling goes down quickly.

Fraternal twins born Feb. 2013
We are so thankful that our second daughter, Lillian Elizabeth "Lily", was born healthy and happy on February 11, 2013. We love her to pieces.
We lost our first daughter, Hannah Grace on May 4, 2011. She was buried on May 14 during a beautiful service at my home church. We are grateful that if she could not be here with us, that she is healed and whole with the Lord. We look forward to the day when we will get to meet her. We love her so much.
Hope he is doing well, and that you're not freaking out too much either
