We have decided to trial DS with pork this week, so he has to eat it every day for a week straight. (It's how his food allergies "work") I am not a huge fan, pretty much all I will eat is bacon Gouda stuffed pork chops (yum).
I just made this last night and DD ate it right up. Honey Butter Pork Tenderloin
Melt 4T butter and 2T honey in an oven proof Dutch oven, season pork with salt and pepper then sear 1.5lbs of pork tenderloin 5 min each side. Finish pork in oven at 375 for 10 min. Let pork rest and deglaze pan with 1/4c water, summer till reduced and serve over pork.

We do pork loin in the slow cooker. I just throw in whatever spices smell good and let it cook. Dh also likes to grill pork steaks. They're pretty good that way.
We will take a pork tenderloin and roast it in the oven at 350 degrees until it hits 145 degrees (then tent it for 10 minutes). I like to do a rub/ thick marinade that is basically an eyeball dash of the following:
-lots of seeded dijon mustard
-a spoonful of regular dijon mustard
-dash of olive oil
-crushed rosemary
-clove or two of crushed garlic
-pepper
-lemon (optional)
-asiago or Parmesan cheese (usually about half a cup or so)
You can marinade it over night or do it a few hours before cooking. But make sure it is thick enough to remain on the pork when you put it onto a tray. Cover the tray in aluminum and use a raised rack if you have one. If not, then make sure you use an oil spray before you cook.
Also, find some teriyaki marinades on line. You can marinate some chops for a few hours then just pop them on the grill. I prefer the bone in rib chops....
Thanks ladies. He is still having problems. So we can't try anything new until next week. But I will write these ideas down. At least I have more time to modify them so he can eat them.
