"Healthy" lemonade or alternative?

I have really been craving lemonade this pregnancy, and DS loves it too. I usually water it down 4 parts water and 1 part lemonade, but I still hate that it is basically sugar water. I bought "Simply Lemonade."

I will Google too but wanted to get your recommendations. Is there some other lemonade or similar juice besides OJ that has calcium added or other really great nutritional benefits? I've seen green juice at Whole Foods and Costco, but I want something tart that tastes good. I don't want to make anything from scratch. Ideas?

There's a Trop50 lemonade. I've never had it, but you could try it.

I may try Odwalla and this Santa Cruz one. At least they have vitamin C and some vitamins.image

@Hawkward, I did that when I was desperate at the lake, and it worked fine.

My parents have a Meyer lemon tree, so I may do that if they give me lemons. I've used the juice too (the real lemon brand - is there something better?), and it tasted ok but not awesome.

I prefer something with no artificial sweeteners.

I use agave from time to time.  We make our own here.

I love agave! I feel like the sweetness is way more satisfying than regular sugar or artificial sweeteners so I can use less. I get the organic one from trader Joe's.
  • I recently bought V8 Fusion lemonade for my kids.  I don't know how much sugar was in it but it has veggies added and they said it was pretty good.
  • My local supermarket sells an organic lemonade. Also, lemon vitamin water

  • Use Stevia?  When we make lemonade, we use about a quart of water (maybe a half gallon?), three lemons, and then (if DD isn't making it and wants to add the sugar), I use stevia to taste.
