I know I'm just a teensy but late with this, but first there was drama over the rug, then we had to hang all the artwork (after he was born), then I had to wait until it was actually clean to take some photos. So here you have it! DH and I are big DIY people, and I am especially proud of this room. DH told me he's jealous of Simon because it's the only "finished" room in our house, haha.

We were team green, so I really wanted something that was bright, fun, and child-friendly, but not too baby-ish.

And since I'm already being an attention whore, I will go all the way and mention that I made the curtains and crib skirt, painted the dresser and installed new hardware on it, installed the closet unit, painted the canvas that's next to his closet, made the artwork in the 5 frames by the door, and made the artwork with the fabric hoops over his crib. Proud mama over here! My mom also made the quilt that's on the back of the chair, so I will brag for her too.

But of course!!

These were taken on my phone so the quality isn't as good, but it'll work. The back is amazing, it is quilted in the shapes of animals! (My mom did all the sewing, but took it to a quilt shop to have quilted.)

I found the time to do it before DS was born...that's why it took so long to finish after he was here, haha!
