Everything stinks

My nose is driving me nuts today. The smells produced by plastics are really strong - I could smell the bag at the grocery store before I even pulled it loose .. They smell gross BTW. I know that estrogen surges can affect smell but I'm past that point. Is there anything else that might cause this? Do I need to start with the Neti-Pot? I don't have time for a sinus infection right now. I feel fine otherwise but now I'm worried about some sinus thing going on.

A sinus infection usually causes the opposite for me -- lack of smells. Increased sense if smell could be caused by many things.

Thanks, ladies. I usually don't have issues like this - It's always the lack of smell, which is why I'm wondering WTH is up. I might try the Neti-Pot and some allergy spray to see if it stops it. I was pretty annoyed that the nice fresh peaches stunk.

@frankenmom‌ No... not usually. I do have allergies but am not susceptible to regular sinus infections. No pressure, no other symptoms. . Just stinky smells everywhere! Even my garden fresh romaine smelled bad when it was in the bag

On another note, your SN is making me want the killer grilled cheese I made last night. I had two.. want more!

Update on this - I didn't get sick! It appears to have been the forerunner of a pretty nasty allergy attack. I had to bust out the inhaler just to be able to breathe... sucks but much better than an infection!
