18 week Ultrasound concerns

Hello. I am 18 weeks and 2 days. I had my level 2 ultrasound Wednesday. I got a phone call today that they couldn't get a photo of the baby's feet and I have low lying placenta previa. I'm 39, and will turn 40 a few weeks before my dd of 12/17. I'm also waiting for my amnio results. We had an amnio on 7/7 and agonizing over my results. I'm a ftm and feel like I'm having a panic attack with worry. Any thoughts?

    It will be ok, mama. Just look at my earlier post. I had my u/s today and they called me back two hours later to come right in because they didn't get all the shots they needed. I freaked but it was fine. They wanted a better picture of her face. That was all. And I worried for nothing. I am also 39 and will turn 40 shortly before baby. It is just a number. Truly. The genetic counselor said the same thing to me. It is not a big deal.I know so many older moms. I get it. Believe me. ((hugs))

    I had placenta previa with my first. It almost always corrects itself so try not to worry too much! My placenta had moved by the time they checked in the 3rd tri. Hope you get your test results soon!

    Seriously! My aunt had a healthy surprise baby boy at 46!
