Need product recommendation

DS plays soccer and his games start next month. I need to be able to bring DD to some of his games but can't have her in the blazing August sun. He will be playing all over the place so I need something easy and portable that I can use to keep LO in the shade.

I thought about those little pop up shade tents you can use on the beach but are they pretty easy to carry around and do they get hot? If you have used one is your LO content to hang out in there? Are there any other suggestions that may work?

What ever happened to those big beach umbrellas? Maybe it's just my dad who has an obsession with them? I have no experience with the pop up things, we just have big umbrellas.

We used a beach tent/shelter at the beach and in the backyard. It is very convenient and easy to assemble. It has two zipper windows on the sides to allow airflow. I highly recommend it. Here's the link:

Our DS plays soccer, we just keep DD in her stroller with the shade up

We have a beach tent. It does get a little hot if the sun is beating on it but opening the flaps helps some.

My LO is like @Ooopsbaby14‌ 's - she only likes the stroller when moving so there is no way I can count on her to stay in there for a full game. We did get through lacrosse season that way but those days are over for us. I do have a stroller fan so I will bring that.
