First Date Out

It took us almost 2 months to actually find time to leave him with my MIL and go out to dinner. Tonight we're going an hour away for dinner and to see Wicked in Salt Lake City. I think this will be about the longest we've left LO. I have been leaving him with her since he was born so I don't really struggle with guilt (trying not to feel guilty about that though!...catch 22 I guess). Considering our relationship has definitely taken a hit with one on one time I'm pretty excited for 5 blissful hours to sit and hold my husband's hand.

We went out for sushi on Valentine's Day a week after LO was born.

We went out to dinner when LO was a week old. My mom was in town and babysat.

We have only had one 'date' sans baby, and it was about a month ago (so LO was 4.5 months or so). SIL watched her; FIL took DH, me, and nephew to a baseball game. So not really even a one-on-one date.
