When my husband and I decided to start TCC we talked about things we might want to do before having a baby. For example, camping (we've never gone together), house projects, road trip, etc. But now that we are actually TTC, we've become a bit more conscious of spending habits and are trying to save as much money as we can. I'd like to still do some of the things on our list, but I'm not sure it's a good idea at this point. I do get a little bummed though seeing pictures of the trips my friends go on, though.
I suppose we could still travel and camp with a baby, right? I know I might not get pregnant any time soon, but it's still always in the back of my mind and sort of influences my decisions.
Did anyone else make a before baby list? What sort of things were on it and how are you doing accomplishing them?
Re: before baby 'bucket list'
Ideally, we wanted to go on a honeymoon. However, our monster was a complete surprise. Yesterday was our 4 year anniversary and we have yet to do that b
we did not have a list for DS and we don't have one for this baby either. Whatever we want to do we will budget and let the kids have a sleepover with grandparents.
I know its not at all what you are saying but your life isn't over just because you have a child. You are not destined to sit at home and never see the light of day again!
We are huge international travelers and having a kid won't stop it. Traveling is my passion...and willing grandparent traveling partners will help!

And my "bucketlist" consisted of small projects consisted of small projects like finish wedding scrapbook... But it was all to take my mind off my recent m/c. I never had a pre-baby bucket list prior to my m/c.

If you want to camp with kids, then do it. It's all doable. It's just a matter of how much energy and effort you want to exert in the process.
