Appointment & Updates

DH and I had our first appointment today. I don't remember the first appointment having so much with it (1 hour long) and it was just with the nurse. They confirmed the pregnancy... YAY! And I got tons of information, more than I remember getting last time. In 2 weeks I will have a dating ultrasound and get to see the heartbeat. I am beyond excited for that. Things are finally starting to feel real!

Last night we ordered DD's shirt saying she is going to be a big sister (pic below). We are thinking about telling the parents next weekend. I am a bit nervous because I know they will tell the rest of the family and I don't want it getting out yet. We will have to see if they are open to keeping their mouths shut.

Yay! That shirt is super cute! I was worried about telling our parents. But so far so good. Though I have not told my dad (mine are divorced my mom is remarried my dad is not). He specifically told me not to tell him until I was ready for everyone to know, because I had a mc in feb and told him a week before it all happened and he told everyone! So I made him tell everyone he told.
