I didn't realize I would be seeing peer influence at this age, but I swear I am already. I've picked up LO at daycare at snack time a couple of times lately, and when he eats/drinks a sippy with his peers, he sits there patiently while finished, not whining to get out of his highchair right away or throwing his food or sippy on the floor when finished like he usually does at home. I swear he is doing it due to his peers' influence. Also, since he has moved up to the toddler room, he's been much more patient with reading books and singing songs at home because I think he sees how the older babies do it at daycare. I could be completely mistaken, but that's just the sense I get.
Yes. We were having separation anxiety issues at drop off and now one of the kids always comes up to us in the morning and pats B on the back and/or shows him whatever toy he had been playing with. The boys and another friend were also causing trouble at nap yesterday by gathering on one mat and trading blankies instead of staying on their own mat.
I SAH with DD but her cousin has influenced her a little. He's two and a pretty big mommy's boy. After our visits with them, DD whines more and is a little bit more clingy. Its annoying but doesnt last long.
