Apparently there are issues with our closing again. Grr. I'm using shopping as an outlet for stress and trying to plan Boo's birthday.

What are you getting your S12er for a birthday present? Nothing has jumped out at me. I'm looking for 1 main gift to go with a few books, new shoes, etc. Thanks!

We are going to Disney a month after her birthday, so gifts will be minimal.

That said, I will probably get some dress up sets, new books, etc.

We have wayyyyyy to much stuff, so I have no idea. Maybe a few small things like books, clothes, small toys. If we do something big I will probably do an outdoor toy or an experience, like a zoo membership.

Each kid is only going to get one gift for their birthday this year since we have so much stuff already. We're going to encourage grandparents who love to go overboard to buy experiences - zoo membership and children's museum renewals, the Pirates and Princess show, etc.

I'm making DD a dress up kit. She has hats and some jewelry, so I'll just add on from there. I plan on doing an Elsa, Anna, and Princess Sofia dress. Maybe some more jewelry and shoes.

DS is going to get a train set.

Not sure what we are doing. My H wants to get some power wheels black ford F-150 monstrosity but it isn't released until October. I told him to get the one out now but he said it's the wrong body style and he wants it to match his truck.......men!

We are getting a Kitchen Helper, I've saved it as a birthday gift. Recently I added a trampoline to the list. We'll be renewing our Zoo membership we got for her first birthday. I plan on telling MIL she wants a balance bike. I really like the dress up kit idea!

Ethan would love this. He's currently obsessed with all things tractor and construction, among other things.

DD is getting a strider balance bike for her birthday, and a dress up kit for Christmas. Other gifts on her amazon wish list are a trampoline, some of the small motor toys mentioned earlier this week and experiences. We are planning to renew our zoo membership and get one for the children's museum and perhaps the aquarium. Swim lessons are also on our list.

I found a mini trampoline thanks to a bunch of ladies on here that will go in the basement once it's finished. :-)

I also got her a bunch of books from an Usborne party I had last week.

As you guys might remember, Nancy is obsessed with "B" her bunny. He comes everywhere with us and now she's started having B do things. "B have Chex" "B take tub" "B needs sips" it's hilarious. My Mom made B his own bed & several outfits. I think she's going to love it.

We have the cow, Leo loves it. Plays with it daily. James is getting too big for it now but still really likes it so I am considering getting him the large Rody for Christmas. If you have a toy store near by that has them out, maybe put Colby on the big one to see if it would work so you can get a lot more years out of it.

I'm a sucker for bubble shorts. I would just trim the ribbon so it won't be brushing up against her skin (how annoying).

Leo's party will be at an apple orchard so I found this Thomas apple orchard set with a forklift for getting the apples off the train, and now I need to decide on a fun train track set. And I'm getting him trains that spell out his name and a number 2.

@Holly_1007, we have one like that. Watch Zulily...they're $44.95 on Amazon and I got ours for $25.99 and Nancy L O V E S him. She calls him Moosey, which I don't understand though....

In my very limited research, Rody was the only brand that I could find offering different sizes and the big one is expensive but will last and all 3 kids can play on it (assuming Colby can get on and off himself right now).

We were given back the Rody that we gave our nephew for his birthday a few years ago, Ethan loves it.
