TMI That's not what I wanted to wake up to

Posted the other about this wicked yeast infection. Finally started feeling better yesterday... Woke up to my period this morning!! Still have 3 days of the OTC treatment. Gross.
Not funny universe!!

    Ugh, sorry OP. I'm right behind you now on day 2 of YI treatment. I think you passed that bad juju over this way somehow!

    Men would cease to exist if they had to put up with everything we do..between periods, pregnancy, childbirth, a variety of lovely vag issues, etc. Oh joy.

    Hubby has said many times that he does not envy me. Between pms, endometriosis, and regular(ish) uti's he's seen enough to respect the vag.

    He's always been really good at dealing with that stuff though. His folks were pretty clear about the birds and the bees stuff early on, so I can have gf's over talking about gross vag issues and he just kinda shrugs.

    I got my period early once 3 days after having 6 teeth pulled. That really sucked. I couldn't even pms eat b/c of teeth. Sorry about the YI.

    This. I'm usually not particularly prone to YIs, but in the past,if I felt one starting to come on and then got my period soon after, before I knew it, it was gone with no treatment needed. Something about your period flushing everything out and restoring proper balance or some shit.

    Oh I hope that is true! I mean it does feel better. I wasn't about to do a treatment tonight though lol. But it sucks because I assume I shouldn't use a tampon but I have really heavy periods. I usually use super plus tamping plus a pad for back up.
