hi everyone. i hope someone can help me here! i have two older children and yes im a little over forty

    ah yesh i wrote it out but didnt post. here goes. i have two older children and last month my partner and i had a chemical pregnancy. being older and in love i was gutted. i had a pos ovulation on july 1st and should have come on 14th. but no period just felt so so sore and bloated. then on 11 july i had classic ov pains and up to my period due date loads and loads of cm. but no period on 14 july. could i have REALLY ovulated on 11 july so now being 7dpo or do i take the sticks as negative

    ok thanks. i was so ill with the chemical my whole body was dicharging! i wont go into details lol. and the emotional crap well thats another story. yeah maybe the 1st was just a surge and the 11th was real. i didnt use the opk on 11th as i just put up with the left hand pain thinking it was nothing. oh well!

    ha ok. i know i sound like a div but does it rise with ovulation then?

    Welcome @pipsqueek99 So sorry about your chemical pregnancy.  I hope you take the time to read the Newbie blog at the top of this board page, take a look at fertility friend it is a wonderful tool to interpret your fertility status, take your temp, check cf and cp, also the book Taking Charge Of Your Fertility is an excellent educational tool.

    thanks for the warm welcome! yeah the chemical thing was a bummer, especially since he doesnt have children and we kinda found 'the one'. my two girls would love a sibling too, my youngest has special needs and is wonderful with children. anyway enuf from me ha ha i will take a look...thanks for the advice x
