My kid WILL NOT shit at daycare...

He will prairie dog all day long until one slips out but he will not poop on the potty there. Now at home, no problem. Thoughts? Suggestions? It's been over 7 months...

    No personal experience with this, but my DCP told me that some kids never get comfortable enough to poop at daycare/school.  She said her 7 year old still holds it until he gets home from school.

    My son spent from age 2-4.5 holding it in. This is both in diapers and potty trained. He finally got comfortable pooping at school this past school year.

    also me. not that I couldn't, but never felt the need to...at least not as far back I can remember.

    DS is 8 and won't poop at school.  He was hospitalized in the fall of his K year due to holding it too long.  He's now able to poop other places *sometimes*, but usually its done at home.

    ETA: He's on miralax and has been for years.

    How do you hold poop? When I feel it coming, there is a small window of time for me to find a bathroom

    All testing shows both H and I are perfectly normal. Baby Nacho had triploidy. 
    Back to normal business December 2012
