Getting beat up during feedings

DD is now 9 wks and love to kick and punch. During her early morning nursing session we side by side nurse and I'm getting totally beat up! I've gotta find another solution.

Anyone else?

my guy beats on my chests while he eats. It's still just comical at this point, but he's getting stronger every day.

Ds swings at me and smacks mu boob. They are just gaining more control if their body.

I can handle the punches during nursing, but the head butts are what get me. DS slammed his head into my lip the other day, hard enough to cut it on my teeth. I don't know how it didn't bother him because it made my lips and teeth hurt! He has also gotten some good pinches in on both DH and I.

Lol, yup, same here. Except he also likes to throw his head around. I keep telling him he can't take the nipple with him - it's attached!

I got one right to the nose. I thought it brine. I heard a crack.

I try to keep LO's nails short, but he still manages to scratch my chest all the time! Ugh it drives me crazy. The head slams are getting bad too.

My LO grabs me with her nails and squeezes. She also gums me and pulls her head side to side. I think it's because I have a fast let down so I try to pull it out for a bit when I let down but in nervous about what will happen when she gets teeth.

Oh thank goodness others are experiencing the head slams. It is getting to the point where it is hard it is hard to hold her BC despite me supporting her neck she still slams it around! The other day I got scared she was gonna give herself shaken baby syndrome or really hurt herself!!

I remember thinking to myself that breastfeeding was not all it was cracked up to be when one nipple was constantly being kicked while the other was painfully and repeatedly popped out of his mouth.
