Tying to get back on track this week. Why do vacations always throw your routine off for twice as long as the actual vacation? I gained back a pound or two, but no biggie. I got my butt to yoga yesterday, and I have Zumba today and tomorrow. I do need to up my water intake some more though.
This week was a miss for me. I gained just over a pound. If you didn't see my post I had mastitis and therefore didn't do any physical activity and I also didn't eat very well either. But I'm not going to let it bother me and I'll get back on track next week. @magentawarped that's great that you got out to yoga, I've never tried Zumba before but it looks fun.
@tangerinemachine Zumba is tons of fun, and great cardio! I hope your mastitis is all cleared up...part of the reason I was still off last week was because I had a clogged duct right where my sports bra sits, so I couldn't go bounce around at the gym (not that I wanted to!).
I did good this week. I exercised nearly every day and ate pretty well. Accepting being hungry sometimes was helpful. I lost 3 pounds. I had been losing maybe 1/2 a pound a week for over a month.
I also finished a 30 day ab challenge. At the beginning of it I couldn't do a sit up. At the end I was able to. It was exciting. I had a c section and lost all of my ab muscles. It's hard work to get them back.
@tangerinemachine I had modified the 30 day challenge. Part of it was sit ups. I was thinking of starting it again with the sit ups included. I just haven't done it.
@vshumway There are tons of workout videos on Netflix and Amazon, even YouTube, so you could find something you like and sneak it in at LO's nap time or after bed. The gym is good for motivation sometimes, but not really necessary.
Hi ladies I haven't been on in awhile because I have been crazy with work and life! I also had a terrible cold that my LO also gifted me from her daycare. My eating has been very up and down because I've been having the hardiest time preparing meals! Tomorrow I am starting Medifast which is a prepared meals plan where you eat 5 of their meals and 1 of your own which has to be a serving of lean protein and 3 servings of low carb vegetables. It's pretty restrictive but I think at this point it's what I need to kick me into gear!! I need to do something because 3 customers last week asked me when I am due :-( I finally broke down and bought some non-maternity clothes and even though the size made me cringe I do feel a little bit more normal!
