I guess I'm the oddball so far! I just got a car with the wonder of satellite radio, and discovered the wonderful world of the Lithium channel. I've been immersed in the world of 90 ' s grunge rock for a couple months now...and it helps that it's DSs favorite. Nirvana, smashing pumpkins, Bush, Foos, no doubt, even Korn, etc, etc, etc. DS and i rock out all day - he can listen to the kiddie channel with grandma
@litera - I'm not sure how old you are, or if you were as obsessed with Nirvana/Kurt Cobain as I was as an early teen, but the exhibit at Experience Music Project is really great (i think you live around that area?). I got to see it in May - really interesting and brought back a lot of good memories

@Matthew930 Ohhhh yeah baby! I grew up in Seattle (I'm pushing 32 now), so Nirvana was shoved in my face every change I got :-D Big fan though, don't get me wrong. I will never forget the grunge years. Everyone lived in ripped plaid and forgot to wash their hair. I haven't been to the EMP myself only because the building is an eyesore and the locals don't hit it up but once every 10 years when we have a friend in town :-P I've actually planned to maybe check it out after LittleDude gets here.
But if you relate Seattle to ANY musician, do not forget Jimi Hendrix, whom I've been listening to his greatest hits nonstop lately.
they have a decent Jimi exhibit too, but i felt like they skimped on it a bit - i was a little disappointed, and thought they could have done a better job.
i hear you on the eyesore comment - it was my first time going out to the operation (we run the gift shop), and it does look weird. i also don't know how expensive it is (for the value of the experience) - i got in for free b/c technically, i "work there". the staff just walked me over!!
Totally into:

Great summertime jam for an NC girl who likes a little bit of country in her life!
I love this song! Well really anything by Little Big Town....but such a great summer time song!
I live about 30-40 minutes north of Charlotte. Where are you?
I live in Raleigh. I lived in Charlotte for a while during college. It wasn't for me....a bit to big
My sister lives in Raleigh and my other sister went to NC state(against my wishes, I bleed Tar Heel blue) so I'm a little familiar with area. I can't handle Charlotte. To many people everywhere all the time!
Re: GTKY (& entertain me) - What's your jam these days?
