Moms that travel for work

I'm interviewing for a new job that would require travel, at least 1 2-3 day trip a month with the occasional week long trip. I'm looking for advice from moms who have or are traveling away from their babies for work and what you did about breastfeeding. I'm currently EBF but not sure how feasible it will be. Also my husband works nights so that adds another challenge. Thanks!

I travel for work but haven't made my first trip since being back so I can't give much advice. I'll be driving my first trip and will pump while driving and when I can pump while working. Also I'm requesting hotel rooms with mini fridges. My husband is supportive of my job which is also helpful as we don't have any family around. You can also post on the working moms board.... I've asked a travel related question and they were a big help.

A good friend of mine travels a ton for work- she says it's a hassle but she makes it work (she travels to NYC frequently and had to pump in the train bathroom- the chick is dedicated!!)

Shoot just re-read and you asked what they do with breastfeeding.

She still breastfeeds whenever she is home with baby

@Holljade wow that is dedication! I was also looking for pumping tips too, sorry it wasn't clear.

I'm just concerned about being with clients and trying to manage pumping.

I remember @ksulli‌ travels a lot for work and BF/pumps. She has given very good advice on the subject in the past. :-)

I'm pretty sure she works her meetings around the pumping schedule for the most part (obviously she doesn't say that to the client lol) but with doing this I think sometimes she needs to carry her pump with her ) the freestyle bag just looks like a regular black purse, or you can it a cheaply big purse as well.
