Today I heard my baby's heartbeat for the first time and it sounded like a train. Anyone believe in the old wives tales of train for boy and galloping horse for girl? X
While I have heard of fetal heart tones being described as either one of those things, I have never heard that one sound means one sex or another. With DD it sounded one way one time and the other another time.

We heard our baby's heartbeat for the first time today too! I think they can sound different because girls tend to beat slower or so I read, even if it's not true it's fun to hear and guess based on old wives tales! I wish I read this before so I could have listened more closely just to play into it haha
