  We conceived our DS on cycle one as well so I know how you are feeling.
  
  It can take up to a year for a healthy couple.
  
  Read the post at the top of the page that says READ THIS BEFORE POSTING. It has so many helpful things. We like to temp around here and pray to the gods that made the Fertility Friend app.
  
  Seriously get a basal body thermometer and download fertility friend. Read the newbie blog and watch the FF videos! Good Luck!

  You have been given excellent advice, read the newbie blog, consider charting your temp, cf, cp with fertility friend.  I have Never had a soft cervix after ovulation...

  you need to basal body temp to confirm ovulation, then you will know for sure how many dpo you are.
  
  and you only have 35% (or something like that) chance of conceiving each month.  Anything under a year is considered "normal"
