Daycare Deal Breakers

I've been looking at daycares the last few weeks because slots for infants in my area fill up quick. What were some of your deal breakers that helped make your decision?

Re: Daycare Deal Breakers

  • I always look for security and at the staff turn over rate. I also look at he state website.

  • Security is a definite for along w/ cleanliness, staff/infant ratio, how they interact, and educational standards. I visited a daycare last week and they basically had a walk in as you please. No one was at the front door (no lock or buzz in system). The staff looked lethargic and it was only 10am. We were disappointed.
